AID CONTAINERS

Australia Light Foundation organizes many aid containers for countries around the world that needs humanitarian or disaster relief. This includes:

 

   - Unperishable food   (dry rice, dry pasta, canned food, etc.)

   - Medical equipment  (medical beds, blankets, apparatuses, etc.)

   - Educational resources   (notebooks, writing tools, etc.)

   - Office supplies   (electronic devices, desks, chairs, etc.)

   - Home goods   (manchester, tables, chairs, etc.)

   - Clothing and apparels   (female, men & children)

 

Most of our containers are clothing and food oriented, but some projects are more specific to the needs, especially if a country had recently suffered some difficulties.

Aid Container For Pakistan - October, 2018

This is a joint project organized by Australia Light Foundation and Australian Peace Organisation. We aim to send a 40ft container to Pakistan to help the orphanages and the poor families there. 

 

Items that will be donated include; food, clothing, school supplies, sanitary products, baby products, toys, and money (which we will use to buy supplies).

Aid Container For Kismayo - October, 2018

Alhamdulillah. Australia Light Foundation together with Jubiland Community from Melbourne have managed to ship another aid container to Kisamayo, Somalia.

Medical Aid Container For Berbera - September, 2017

Australia Light Foundation sent a medical aid container to Berbera General and Mental Hospital, Berbera in the Sahil region of Somaliland.

 

We sent many useful medical and health supplies such as mattresses, hospital beds, bedding, dry food, and general medical equipment.

 

We are grateful to all those who were a part of this big project and made this a successful campaign.

Aid Container For Kismayo - September, 2017

Australia Light Foundation sent an aid container to Kismayo, Somalia to help the needy and poor families there.

 

There was a great help from Sister Ubah Farah Hashi and the community to make this project successful.

Aid Container For Awdal Region - April, 2017

Australia Light Foundation sent an aid container of food and clothing to Awdal Region, Somaliland for the Salel Awareness Development Youth Organisation.

 

We shipped approximately 300 boxes of clothing, 480 bags of bakers flour, 880 boxes of pasta and 40 bags of white sugar.

 

We appreciate every volunteer and donor who helped us make this project a success.

Aid Container For Bosaso - October, 2016

Australia Light Foundation sent an aid container to Bosaso, Somalia. We sent a 40 feet container of clothing and dry food for Mr. Mahad Claahi Deni African Horn Co. East Salalah.

 

We shipped approximately 480 bags of bakers flour, 1080 boxes of dry pasta and 40 bags of white sugar. Includes hundred boxes of various clothing for male, females and children.

Aid Container For Ethiopia - March 2016

Australia Light Foundation sent an aid container to the orphanages in Ethiopia. We sent useful supplies such as office supplies, clothing, toys, walking aids, books and more.

 

Many volunteers helped to pack the donations neatly into the boxes so they can be shipped safely to Ethiopia. Thank you to all the volunteers and donators who made this charity possible.

Aid Container For Puntland State - February 2015

Australia Light Foundation sent an aid container to Puntland State, Somalia. The container was filled with dry food and clothing for the difficult famine that the state is enduring through.

 

The container held about 300 boxes of clothing for both male and female, adults and children, approximately 1293 bags of unperishable food.
